Dressage is conducted under British Riding Club Rules and competitors should acquaint themselves with them regarding rider and horse attire.  All mounted riders must wear fastened hard hats to the approved BHS specification.  We encourage competitors and horses to be attired and behave correctly both in and out of the ring so that when they move up the ladder to greater things, behaviour and attire become second nature.  The horse/pony must be under control at all times otherwise we reserve the right to refuse entry.  The club advocates the use of body protectors for the jumping classes.  When riding, trainer shoes or wellingtons are not allowed.
